January is going out like a lion! We had such wonderful weather. Today was windy, but light jacket weather. Now, well lets just say, I will be staying inside for the next day or so.
I went to work today, and my wonderful mother in law, came over to stay with mom. I ended up gone much longer than expected, as Christine's pickup, once again had issues. I think her pick up hates me!!!
Ron changed the alternator last Sunday. It was still showing a big draw on the battery and her battery would go dead. She had it checked and they said it was good. Yea right. Checked the alternator, and the new one -the one Ron just put in, was only putting out 11 amps! Ugg, no time for this right now!!
O=Picked up a new one, and put it in. Made it 9 miles to Walmart just in the nick of time as the headlights were out as she pulled into the parking lot! changed the battery, and still problems. Sleeting, cold...yuck!!!! So, he pick up is here, and she has mine. just could not risk her traveling all the way home (1 1/2 hour drive) to risk a breakdown in this weather. Sent her home. She had rain, and the temp was down to 32. Hoping she would make it home before the roads froze.
She called, and made it safely. Yea!!! They have already closed most of the schools in the area, UNT (girls college) too! Lots of kids and teachers get to sleep in!
Mom is resting, had a busy day. She has been able to cut down on her pain meds, and tonight she sounded better than she has since last Thursday. She was tired, but her voice and attitude were stronger.
Thanks again for all who call and write. Keep up the great work!!! It means allot to her and Steve. Here's hoping Pat 7 Bill made it home without incident!!!!

Hope everyone is staying warm and safe. Sorry to hear about the truck Marj, but I am sure you can fix it. You always were working on your vehicles. Ma, good to hear your pain killers intake has decreased, that is a good sign. Lotsa love and hugs to everyone.
